Hari ketiga: Ahad, 12 April 2015
Tarifnya sekitar 550 ribu plus makan, sewa alat snorkeling dan 1 butir kelapa muda (Kelapa muda disini cukup mahal menurutku, sekitar 15 ribu per butirnya). O iya, jangan lupa bawa lotion anti nyamuk atau raket nyamuk kalau perlu karena katanya disini banyak nyamuk.
One of cottage in Samalona Island
Tunggu kelanjutan kisah kami selanjutnya :D
3rd day: Sunday, April 12nd, 2015
As planned as before, We would have a tour that Sunday. Ya, full of tour. We would go to place across Makassar which I think suitable for comfy holiday. We ready to went there after packing because almost of my friends would be getting back to Jakarta on this afternoon.
The hotel car drove with normal speed trough the Makassar road which not very crowded. The driver (who was the one and only man in the car) chose to passed the toll to speed up the time. We would go to a beautiful island which not far from the capital city of this province. That was Samalona Island.
Unobstacle travel (alhamdulillah) brought us to the Kayangan Island Quayside. This quayside is across Fort Rotterdam. So many boats that ready to take the travelers to the islands. There were islands which travelers often came like Samalona and Kayangan Island. We just went to Samalona at that time because almost of my friends would go back to Jakarta. After bargained with boat driver, we paid Rp. 300.000 for shuttle with very near distance (2 km) for 30 minutes (was it expensive??)
And... It was Samalonaaa... it was beautiful, right? White-sand island with shallow and clear sea water were suitable to diving and snorkeling. Many natives hired those equipment. The ability of bargaining is needed here, of course :)
Feel hungry after diving, snorkeling, or just walk along in Samalona beach? Don't worry because there were food stalls which offer seafood menus. If you want to buy fish, it price was so expensive. It's about Rp. 30.000 for little fish because no one natives who catching the fish there so they must buy it from the fishermen. If you want to spend the night here, there were cottages and natives home for relax. The price was about Rp. 550.000. Eat, snorkeling equipment and a coconut included (I think the coconut was so expensive here, about Rp. 15.000 for one). Oh, don't forget to bring mosquito repellent lotion or mosquito racket if it is needed because people said that so many mosquito here.
Satisfied played in Samalona, we chose back to Makassar led up Sombaopu St to bought sovenirs. For almost of my friends, the Makassar trip would be end, but it would be a new trips for me and 2 other my friends because we still stayed in this city. So, please wait for our next story :D
